1- Learn as much as you can from others, the better your knowledge, the better your understanding of the human body and your body even more.
2- Eat well and eat often
3- Make stretching a mandatory routine after your training sessions
4- Include bodyweight training to your everyday routine
5- To also touch on WR fitness point, get a plan and know what you will be working
6- Start the week training your weakest body part
Great question !
Here are some of my tips if you’re just starting out :
- Keep the weight low and prioritise learning proper form and breathing mechanisms.
- Get a plan, that way you know what you’re doing before you go in. Also, it allows you to track and progressively overload for best results.
- Supplements are a great help but before you make that step ensure you are consuming a well balanced diet and are staying hydrated.
- Prioritise your rest and mobility, we’d all live in the gym if we could but there is such a thing as over-training. When that happens it can result in serious injuries and fatigue. So take rest days and get that 8 hours.
